Jasmine Daguno Reyes is a Filipino-American, Bay Area-born, and Los Angeles-based screenwriter and storyboard artist.
Primarily a comedy and dramedy TV writer, Jasmine tells women-driven stories centered on the messy and complex inner worlds of outsiders, oddballs, and underdogs. She aspires to work on stories that use heart and humor to explore the most honest parts of being human.
Jasmine studied film/TV, animation, illustration for entertainment, and screenwriting at De Anza College, Art Center College of Design, and UCLA Extension. This resulted in 6+ years of experience in entertainment with 4+ years in the TV industry, working for Emmy-nominated productions and selected into the Nickelodeon Artist’s Program. Additionally, with experience in Creative and Production support, she also worked with Grand Jury Music, Active Management, Sonder Pictures, and musical artists such as Grammy-award winner Killer Mike, Run the Jewels, and Jordana.
She also loves to teach screenwriting and ceramics, make zines, and act on sets. When she’s not creating, you can find her with her cats: Lazlo and Oliver, reading books that make her ugly cry, or rambling on Letterboxd.
