Jasmine Reyes is a Bay Area story artist, screenwriter, and storyteller based in Los Angeles, CA.
She is a Filipino-American artist with experience in TV Animation, working for Nickelodeon productions such as Big Nate, The Patrick Star Show, and has trained under the Nickelodeon Artist’s Program. Jasmine has worked with Grand Jury Music, Bobbie, Young Storytellers, musical artists such as Run The Jewelz, Churchill, and Jordana, and various companies and nonprofits.
She has a love for stories that revolve around the messy, silly, and complex inner worlds of outsiders, outcasts, oddballs, and underdogs. She hopes to work on stories that find the heart and humor in the unhinged, pulling on themes and ideas that explore the most honest parts of being human.
In addition to this, she also loves making ceramics, zines, and risographs. On the off chance that she isn’t making art, you can find her with her cats: Lazlo and Oliver, reading books that make her ugly cry, or writing too much on Letterboxd.
