Jasmine Reyes is a Filipino-American, Bay Area-born, and Los Angeles-based TV screenwriter, storyboard artist, and story person.
Primarily a comedy and dramedy screenwriter, Jasmine is focused on telling women-driven stories centered on the messy and complex inner worlds of outsiders, outcasts, and underdogs. Her writing style could be described as one part lighthearted quips and two parts heartstring pullers. She aspires to work on stories that use heart and humor to explore the most honest parts of being human.
Jasmine has 4+ years of experience in the TV industry, working for Nickelodeon productions such as Big Nate, The Patrick Star Show, and was selected and trained through the Nickelodeon Artists’ Program. Additionally, she has worked with Grand Jury Music, Bobbie, Young Storytellers, and musical artists such as Run The Jewelz, Churchill, and Jordana.
Aside from this, she enjoys making ceramics, zines, short stories, and risograph prints. On the off chance she isn’t making stuff, you can find her with her cats: Lazlo and Oliver, reading books that make her ugly cry, couch crashing in another country, or writing too much on Letterboxd.
